Websites

We promote our cause marketing partnerships on our website, which receives over 250,000 visitors annually. This promotion includes establishing a link to our partners’ websites or other sites where the products, services, tickets, etc. can be purchased.

We also promote our cause marketing activities on various social networking websites.

Materials

We publicize our cause marketing campaigns in our print and electronic newsletters. Over 22,000 people currently subscribe to our monthly e-newsletter.

BBBS of NYC also can provide compelling messaging thanking your customers for their support and communicating how their purchases and your resulting company donations will help the many underprivileged children of New York City. This can be flyers included in or stickers affixed to product packaging, store signage, restaurant check presenters or e-mailed order confirmations.

Media

January is National Mentoring Month and April is National Volunteer Month These months can be ideal for launching a cause marketing campaign.

Depending on the extent of the partnership, we can collaborate with your marketing and public relations professionals, supporting and complementing their efforts with joint press releases, providing content, statistics and spokesperson(s) as needed, and conducting direct outreach to involve our supportive media connections.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City’s Constituents and Supporters

BBBS of NYC will conduct targeted outreach to promote our cause marketing campaigns to appropriate constituents and supporters. We will send e-mail announcements to the 6,000 members of our Young Professionals Committee. We will communicate the cause marketing partnership and encourage participation among our 3,000 adult mentors, the many potential and past adult volunteers in our database, as well as our children and their families. We also can reach out to our supporters at the FDNY, NYPD and other appropriate community and corporate partner organizations.
