The New American Program at Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City is a specialized mentoring initiative designed to support 1st-generation youth from immigrant families by matching them with caring and supportive mentors who often share cultural identities with their Littles.
Bigs United is the African American Affinity Group of Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City. This passionate group of mentors and volunteers work to address the high needs of the organization around recruiting African American mentors. Through unique events and fundraisers, they advance our mission to build and support mentoring relationships to ignite the biggest possible futures for youth.
Big Pride is a dedicated group of volunteers committed to ensuring LGBTQ+ youth have access to mentors who champion their potential. Through Big Pride, Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City expands the reach of mentorship, connecting diverse mentors with young people and fostering a more inclusive, supportive community for all.
LatinX Bigs ensure our Latinx Littles in NYC have access to positive adult role models to help expand their horizons, realize their potential, enrich their futures and change their lives. Throughout the year Latinx Bigs, in conjunction with our corporate and community partners, also hosts many events.
The Young Professionals Committee (YPC) of Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City is a diverse group of dedicated individuals who volunteer their time, talents, and energy to generate awareness of and to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City's many mentoring and educational programs.
